The Gateway Program can provide help working with Child Protective Services and the Division of Developmental Disabilities. Our staff members work with parents in accessing special educational needs for their children.
We provide someone to talk to about being a parent when it seems like a lonely job. We can help finding doctors and other services.
It’s also important to have good life skills, like knowing ideas for nutritious meals and snacks that kids will eat and enjoy. All parents need positive ways to discipline their child or children and to gain their cooperation. Parents may enroll in Gateway by contacting the Washington State Department of Disabilities.
