Deaconess Children's Services is the leading provider of child abuse and neglect prevention programs in Snohomish County. The primary purpose of Deaconess’ programs is protecting and supporting at-risk children and strengthening their families. We focus on preventing child abuse and neglect and helping those we serve to reach self-sufficiency.
We believe that every child needs and deserves support, nurturing and guidance to become a healthy, productive adult. Often children who do not receive the love and care they require, grow up lacking the skills they need to become effective parents. This cycle often continues from one generation to the next.
